To add a new requirement to a specification, click on the plus sign in the bottom right corner of the page. A popup will appear where you can specify the specification and group that the requirement will belong to, as well as a unique identifier and the requirement text.
Valis in requirements
Valis can be displayed in a requirement text to specify numerical values. These Valis are automatically updated in the text when the value changes. To add any Vali to the requirements text, type a dollar sign
$ to open the autocomplete and select the Vali to be displayed.
It is also possbile to add a new Vali which belongs to a requirement by typing a dollar sign and selecting
create new in the top right corner of the popup. After that you can define the name, formula and unit of the new Vali.
Parent and child relationships
A requirement can be linked to other requirement through parent and child relationships. A parent requirement can thus be broken down into several child requirements and you can track those relationships throughout your design. To add a relationship, click on Add requirement in the Parent or Children column in the table and start typing to get a selection of the requirements to choose from.
